Charles is an associate lawyer at CCPartners with experience in a wide variety of workplace related legal issues. Charles works with private and public employers and has a wealth of experience working with and advising hospitals in particular. This includes advising on grievance arbitration, employment standards, collective bargaining, interest arbitration, human rights and other workplace related issues.
After being called to the bar in 2016, Charles worked as a Labour Relations Consultant for hospitals in Ontario, participating in multiple rounds of central bargaining and providing day-to-day advice to labour relations professionals in the hospital sector. Charles also advised on local bargaining and interest arbitration proceedings.
As an articling student, Charles worked exclusively in the area of labour and employment law with one of Canada’s largest labour and employment law firms. While there, he worked on grievance arbitration, interest arbitration, Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, Ontario Labour Relations Board and civil litigation matters for unionized and non-unionized employers in many sectors, including Federal and other provincial jurisdictions.
